The Best Films of the Decade: #4 - #1

| 01 January 2010 | |

Well (or Oops, if one prefers), I did it again - I waited too long to put my list together and left myself with little time to put it together in full. That is to say go through the processes and postings. I know, it doesn't require a whole lot of time in reality to toss up ten films and a few honorable mentions to boot, but to my own surprise I actually have things going on and I find myself increasingly resistant to spending time on this computer; seeing as how much the weather out of doors has cooperated and being generally spent from the holiday seasons and what not. Yeah, maybe I'm copping out a bit, but that's what great about it, I can do that. So without further adieu, a simple line listing of #4 through #1:

Honorable Mentions #3 & #4:
Before the Devil Knows You're Dead (Sidney Lumet, United States, 2007)
Stealing Time (a.k.a. Rennie's Landing, Marc Fusco, United States, 2001)

..and the final four:

Number 04: Spirited Away (Hayao Miyazaki, Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi, Japan, 2002)
Number o3: No Country for Old Men (Joel Coen/Ethan Coen, United States, 2007)
Number o2: Zodiac (
David Fincher, United States, 2007)
Number 01: Micheal Clayton (
Tony Gilroy, United States, 2007)

Now, I'm off to sharpen my skates and play a little hockey this afternoon.
